Our Story

WellSpace was co-founded by Laura Guy and Lauren Wallace.

Having met whilst working together on the Fulfilling Lives programme, we both experienced enormous satisfaction working in a way which allowed us to be authentic, innovative and caring in client work and project development. We felt passionate about taking a truly trauma informed approach and shared a love of training and learning, developing and facilitating a number of programmes together locally and nationally.

Recognising our alignment in experience, values and approach, once the programme came to an end we felt excited about creating an opportunity to share our learning and produce training which was grounded, useful and left people feeling positive and empowered.

We knew there was already lots of training out there. What’s different about Wellspace? Our sessions are open, curious and honest and our facilitation is grounded in experience and down to earth.

The name WellSpace came about as a reflection of our values and our understanding of what it is to be trauma informed. Think about a Well - serving the community, central to it. Providing water, essential for nurturing life. Water shifts shape, changes, flows. Space speaks to a format which is accessible, unbound and inclusive. We hope to be all these things when creating a space for learning.
